"Learn to catch yourself when you're making excuses instead of solutions."

Hi I'm A-Dawg. I'm a 22 year old producer from Toronto, Canada.

When did you start making music?

I've always had instruments in my house to mess around with , but I started recording music about 6 years ago in high school when I downloaded Ableton Live.

About 2 years ago I stopped producing as a hobby and started taking it more seriously.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?

The biggest lesson that I've learned so far is that if you truly devote yourself to your work, you will see results more consistently, and if you're not seeing those results, you need to stop and make a better plan. I'm just starting to grasp this and apply it with help from my bros. Learn to catch yourself when you're making excuses instead of solutions.

How did it feel getting your first #1 with Rod Wave?

It honestly felt pretty cool, but I'm always concerned about getting the next placement, so it kind of came and went. I didn't really know Rod Wave too well before I first heard the How The Game Go snippet back in October, so I didn't really expect the album to do quite as well as it did, I'm very thankful it did. I think it'll hit me more once the plaque comes in!

What is your definition of success?

My definition of success is being able to do what you love everyday and being

financially free from it. I'm not even 1% towards where I want to be and I have a lot to learn.
